Baltimore MD – June 1, 2023– Blind Industries and Services of Maryland (BISM) is proud to announce the launch of our refreshed logo and brand identity. This exciting rebranding initiative reflects our commitment to innovation, growth, and an unwavering focus on delivering exceptional products and services to our valued customers and community.
The new logo is a powerful visual representation of our company's evolution and vision for the future. Designed to capture the essence of our core values, it embodies our commitment to empowering the Blind community through a multitude of options. The compass serves as a directional tool with each point representing an opportunity to be empowered through education, employment, and training. It is with this compass; the Blind community can choose their own path towards success.

BISM is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that supports the blind and low-vision community by educating them, training them, employing them, and empowering them to be confident and lead independent lives. Our manufacturing and retail businesses are the largest employers of blind and low-vision individuals in Maryland, and our independence training and rehabilitation programs provide structured training and employment opportunities. It’s through Educating, Employing, and Training that we are working to empower the Blind Community.
